Today, Savalee has become an ‘own’ home for 50 children, in which 25 are boys and 25 are girls. This group of 50 children has become a family that obeys its caretakers, in the same way when a younger obeys an elder one in a general family. These boys and girls have always showed great unity and cooperation between themselves, whenever there had been the moments of crisis on the threshold. They attend nearby schools. Benefactors from the society, provide their necessary expenses, fees and education materials too. Children generally secure marks ranging form 60 to 92%, in their curriculum studies. At Savalee, 3 children are in the 10th, one is in the 11th, 2 girls are in 12th and one is studying ITI. This achievement makes everyone at Savalee proud of its genuine efforts. For the amusement, we have supplied them a TV set, a DVD set, computers and musical instruments like tabala and the harmonium. Moreover, they have a well-equipped library of over 1000 books. We also invite eminent personalities to Savalee and arrange the demonstration of their skills in their respective fields.

Current Projects

• For the mental-intellectual and physical development of children, we execute pranayam (breathing exercise), surya-namaskara (a kind of yogic exercise), meditation and yogic asan (practice of yogic positions) from them.
• For the mental-intellectual and physical development of children, we arrange camps.
• We wish to teach them tree conservation and importance of hygiene. We have a plan of Sanskrit Coaching and Goshala (Care centre of cows).
• We setup a computer lab, arrange Taikwando coaching, personality development camps for the young generation and medical treatment for unsheltered and needy women.
